Age: Unknown - The earliest accounts of Chan are spotty at best. If they are true, Chan was present at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan, making him at least a thousand years old, but some information suggests he may well be far older.

Education: Largely unknown. It is known that he's trained in the Jedi Order, to the rank of Master, but as to who his Master was, or how long ago he was a Padawan, as there is no official record, due to an attack on the Jedi Temple archives, some five centuries prior.
There are rumours that Chan was once a member the Ashla Je'daii, before they became the first Jedi, during the Force Wars.
This has been based on things he's said, and let slip out without meaning to. Some with telepathic abilities, have seen into his mind, and have arrived at similar hypotheses, while others think Chan has simply gained memories passed down, from a long line of descendants - but how, no one knows for sure.

Abilities:

• Eternal longevity: Ven can live forever, but their physicality and appearance of age, is depedenet on the amount of memories they retain. Chan has developed personal methods of frequently erasing seconds of trivial memory here and there, to compress important memories, and retain his identity.
   

• Self memory deletion: Like all Ven, Chan can erase any memory of his own, as he wishes, to maintain his preferred level of physicality and longevity.
   

• Memory transfer: Chan is an older Ven, and can transfer memories between himself, Ven memory devices, consenting telepaths, the galactic holonet, and holocrons - Chan owns a number of unique shielded holocrons, that he is often in contact with, that act as extensions of his overall memory.

Background: Al'Sekhen ineb Chan's history is one that raises far more questions than it answers. What is known for certain, is his name, and that he erased many of his earliest memories, for reasons that he believes, were the good of many. 

There are huge gaps of memory pertaining to his early life, just enough for him to guess at his true age, where he came from, who his family were, and why he had to forget so much. The questions concerning rumours of his presence at the final battle of Ruusan, and the Force Wars, are questions he will not answer, exceot to say that those times were the least interesting thing anyone could ever ask about.

There are stories of a white haired Jedi, with a silver blade, across history on many worlds, one who came to help when needed, but never mired in bureaucracy or tradition. Chan has never taken an apprentice that he knows of, and has stayed distant from various incarnations of the Jedi Councils, but on occasion, has approached individuals he's seen bearing unique potential, and been a mentor to them. These beings are not always force users, and if they are, they are not always Jedi, like The Elder of Gaia, when she started to realise that she did not age normally.

Chan advised Sage on a few occasions, including the night before the Battle of the Throne Room, and the death of Patrick Solen, the Dark King.
 

It's a big galaxy, so finding Chan isn't easy. He sees that each Jedi has their own path to make, and that there are enough masters to train others. Basically, much that goes on in the galaxy, are things he just feels he's not meant to interfere with.

 

A wandering leaf in the winds of the force, if you meet him, it will be an encounter not soon forgotten, just be sure to lock up your beer, and be warned, Al'Sekhen is a cheeky motherfucker. It'll make sense if you meet him.
The last sighting of him, was on Zeltros, following the end of the Naboo - Galactic War.
