Occupation: Programmed for investigation, as well as at least 68 forms of communication--for most protocol droids, it's a lot more, but he had to make room for his other systems, and his refusal to have memory wipes.

Bases of Operations: A small office building in Theed, that also serves as an apartment. He works there with his trusty partner, SCM-22 / Schema.
As he generally parks his landspeeder on the curbside for ease, he's allowed his garage to be converted into a droid repair shop, by his friend Seafah Vreni.

Sexuality: Do droids even? His programming is designated as masculine, if that helps.

Species: Droid - A heavily modified protocol droid of unknown manufacturer, N1-CK was programmed and customised to solve a several centuries old murder. Upon completion of his task, he was granted freedom, and has spent his time travelling from one system to the next, solving cases until the scene gets old.
 

Currently, he's based on Naboo, a place with enough murders, missing persons and marital affairs, to rival Nar Shardaa. He knows, he checked.

You'll find him often in the less law abiding areas of Theed, or in the Terrace, depending on what case he's working on, either sipping whiskey (see droid mods below), or repairing himself.
