Riordan

"Why join the navy when you can be a pirate?"
Name: Riordan
Birthplace: Isle
Height: 5'10" / 177.8 cm
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark brown
Affiliation: Princess Isalea's remnant
Occupation: Captain of the Greedy Kraken, a Corsair pirate ship - Riordan was loyal to Isalea during the mutiny, and has pledged his crew, his ship and its complement of N1 fighters, to support whatever cause the Princess upholds.

Species: Myth
Abilities:
Mythical strength: 4x stronger than a human male of his size who engages in regular intensive exercise.
Draconian shifting: While he can no longer shift into a full Myth-dragon form, he still shift his teeth to form fangs, and his fingertips to produce talons.
He can also produce wings, but is only able to glide when using them.
Drake armour form: He can cause his skin to shift to a scale-like armour that is many times more durable than a Myth in full dragon form, giving him an exterior that can be as strong as pure Beskar - however, the upper end of his durability can only be maintained for very brief periods, and such effort means having to refrain from using this ability for a time.
This ability can be used for longer periods if used for lesser levels of durability. When maintaining the durability of a normal Myth in full dragon form, he can maintain his armoured skin almost indefinitely
When in use, he gains resistance to extremes of hot and cold weather, and resistance to radiation.

History:
Riordan was born and raised on Isle. As an adult, he married a Myth woman named Roisin Hanluan aka Rose, and together they had two sons: Norton and Paul.
While Paul was still an infant, Riordan was conscripted by the IEA, and compelled to fight for them, under threat of his family's safety.
For a number of years he reluctantly fought for the IEA, until they attempted to use him in missions that pushed him well past his own morals, and he deserted.
Stranded on the farthest end of the main continent to where his home was, it took a very long time, but he eventually returned, but upon doing so, had been told that his wife and children were murdered, and was even shown footage of Roisin appearing to have been beaten to death, not knowing she survived.
He sought revenge, but Roisin's assaulter proved to be too well guarded, even for one of his abilities, especially for one of his abilities, as the villain was prepared for retaliation of a Myth dragon shifter, so Riordan left Isle.
In his travels, he learned of a doctor rumoured to be able to augment the physical abilities of people using bio-engineering, and genetic manipulation; with nothing left to lose, and the chance to be able to overcome the anti-dragon countermeasures, he found the doctor who did grant him enhanced capabilities, but at the cost of his power to shift into a full dragon.
Still, it was enough, but before Riordan could return to Isle, the Clone Wars had begun, and after that, the rise of the Empire, which took Isle as one of its many worlds.
He wandered the galaxy, eventually meeting Isalea's pirates, and joined her crew, in time becoming one of her most trusted captains.
When Isalea was betrayed, his quest for vengeance against the traitors led him to hew new allies, the rebels of Brightstone Sanctuary, not knowing that his son Paul, and Roisin, now known as Mira, were among them.
Now Riordan and his crew are allied with the Brightstone rebels, and has been reunited with his family, Together, they oppose the Empire, and seek to free Isle from its oppression.
