Background:
Jexina was a trained counsellor and therapist before the rise of the Empire, but when policies were introduced that reduced rights for non-humans, Jexina's opportunities to practice were greatly diminished, and there was growing pressure for Zeltrons in her area to work as pleasure-workers.
Jexina said no, and looked for work in the outer-rim and was recruited by Captain Riordan, who decided his pirate crew could do with better mental health - he also made her train with the use of a blaster rifle and ship turret.
Since the alliance of Isalea's remnant and Brightstone Sanctuary, she has become the base's resident counsellor.
