As a young adult, she learned much of what she knows now, from Rix Dakrya, the former leader of a law-abiding mercenary group, who she worked for as a deckhand and cleaner, on his ship. It was Rix who helped her to escape Cromag.
After Rix disbanded his group to join the NSF, Helena went on to become a bounty hunter, and in addition to her lessons from Rix, got some training from Teräs Käsi master Seikar.

Species: Cromagian

Cromagians are a species native to Cromag, a very heavily isolated world, that consist of two races, the Blijed and Crveno. The former resemble humans for the most part, while the latter are towering beings of imposing size and physicality, with red skin, horns and tails.
For many years, the Blijed, through superior numbers and technology, oppressed the Crveno, despite their physical strength, enslaving them for a time.

While in more recent years, slavery has been outlawed, society is far from equal between the races, with the Crveno as being an underprivileged minority.
For the most part, they are an extremely extremely xenophobic and bigoted race, especially against those of LGBT, and also, of mixed race Cromagians, who are often rejected by both pureblood Blijed and Crveno alike.

Helena is a mixed-race Cromagian. Her mother, a Blijed from a wealthy family, had a secret affair with one of the house gardeners, only to fall pregnant. To hide her hybrid child, she travelled offworld to give birth, only to return later, and have the baby adopted by a family of Crveno from one of the poorer districts.

While her appearance resembles that of her Blijed mother, physically, her body has the abilities of her Crveno father. As a result, while she was accepted by her adopted family, almost all who knew of her heritage, regarded her as some sort of freak.

She grew up not knowing that she had a half-sister, a pureblood Crveno by the name of Trea Kijani, who she met after first arriving on Naboo.

 

Abilities:
 

• Enhanced physicality: Increased strength (3x human average of her size and fitness), a hyper-developed sense of balance, hyper fast reflexes and running speed. Using her combined strength and agility, she can leap twice her own height.
   

• Enhanced senses: Limited low-light vison.
   

• Communicative Telepathy: While she can't read minds or sense emotions, she can communicate telepathically with other Cromagians, and other telepathic species. With concentration, she can sense the presence of other nearby Cromagians.

• As a child, her skin was red, but darkened as she became an adult. Now it only turns red, when exposed to infrared light, or when using her Crveno physicality.
